Sanctions on Russia will affect economic atmosphere in EAEU: Pashinyan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Western sanctions against Russia will affect the economic atmosphere in the Eurasian region, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told a meeting with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Nur-Sultan.

The Kazakh leader held a meeting with the heads of government of the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.

"We must discuss what prompt decisions we should make to minimize the negative consequences, and if possible, bypass them by taking appropriate measures," Pashinyan said.

"Obviously, we are going through an extremely sensitive period, sensitive geopolitical tectonic changes. And in this context, of course, the Eurasian Economic Union is an important format for the development of our economies."
