Five Karabakh soldiers wounded in Azerbaijan-provoked

PanARMENIAN.Net - Five contract servicemen of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army received wounds of various severity in a skirmish provoked by the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces overnight, the NKR InfoCenter reported on Friday, March 25.

The lives of said soldiers are not in danger, the Karabakh authorities said.

On Thursday, Azerbaijan used drones to launch an offensive against Nagorno-Karabakh, capturing a village and positions nearby and injuring one Armenian soldier. It was reported on Friday, however, that lengthy negotiations of the Russian peacekeeping troops have not yielded significant results, and the Azeris have not returned to the starting positions.
