Armenian, Azerbaijani leaders to meet in Brussels on April 6

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and European Council President Charles Michel will hold a meeting in Brussels on April 6.

Information about the upcoming meeting was published as part of Michel's schedule on the website of the European Council.

The three last met on December 14, on the sidelines of an Eastern Partnership summit.

Back then, Michel assured both leaders of the EU’s commitment to work closely with Armenia and Azerbaijan in overcoming conflict, creating cooperation and an atmosphere of trust, with a view to sustainable peace in the region ultimately underpinned by a comprehensive peace agreement. The common aim of all three leaders is to build a South Caucasus that is secure, stable and prosperous for the benefit of all people living in the region.
