5165 Movement launches campaign to oust Pashinyan from power

PanARMENIAN.Net - 5165 Movement, officially known as the 5165 National Conservative Movement Party, as well as public figures Edgar Ghazaryan and Avetik Chalabyan are launching a campaign to remove Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan from power, the movement said in a statement on Friday, April 15.

The initiators noted that recent statements from Pashinyan and his teammates on the status of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) testify to the readiness to hand it over to Azerbaijan, which they said is inadmissible, "whose tolerance is a crime."

The party and people behind the initiative announced that they would start actions aimed at ousting Pashinyan from office from April 19.

The statement came after Pashinyan said that the international community is telling the Armenian side to lower its "benchmark on the status of Nagorno-Karabakh a little and ensure greater international consolidation around Armenia and Artsakh."
