STAR to issue checks and price tags in ArmenianApril 9, 2009 - 17:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Last week Star supermarket chain introduced a novelty: checks and price tags in Armenian will be used in all of Star supermarkets, Star Press Service reported.According to Star IT Service Director Gevorg Aghvanyan, the introduction of Armenian-language checks and price tags was preceded by a lengthy and painstaking work of all IT specialists and developers of retail automation programs, used in Star. A number of serious changes on products cards, holding the information on products sold, were introduced. Though Armenification required major financial investments, Star management is confident the expenditures were necessary and justified.
