Armenia-Azerbaijan-Russia meeting in the works, says Moscow

PanARMENIAN.Net - High-level trilateral contacts between Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia are expected by the end of August, Deputy Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Ivan Nechaev told a briefing on Thursday, August 11.

"We are planning to organize trilateral contacts at a high level on various tracks of the Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization by the end of August," he said, according to Tass.

On August 3, the Azerbaijani armed forces launched an attack and attempted to cross the line of contact in a number of sections of the northern and northwestern border zone. Azerbaijan used UAVs and grenade launchers, killing two Armenian servicemen and injuring 19 others.
