Simonyan’s comments came on Wednesday, October 31, just days after Russian President Vladimir Putin offered to host a meeting with Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The lawmaker said no document is currently on the table. Instead, he said, there are “hundreds of suggestions, hundreds of options, opinions, ideas.” According to him, the reported year-end timeframe for signing a peace agreement between the two countries is a “tacit deadline”.
