Yerevan Brandy Company, Erasmus Student Network sign MoU

PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 30, Yerevan Brandy Company and Erasmus Student Network Yerevan signed a Memorandum for promoting responsible behavior regarding alcohol consumption among the youth above the legal drinking age.

As a member of the Pernod Ricard Group, Yerevan Brandy Company never misses a chance to initiate projects dedicated to responsible drinking. The memorandum targets young adults above the legal drinking age and aims to strengthen their knowledge and awareness on subjects concerning responsible drinking by especially emphasizing the risks towards alcohol abuse.

“By having the notion of responsible drinking in mind, we primarily strive towards increasing the awareness on risks which can appear due to alcohol abuse among the youth. It is crucial to promote responsible drinking behavior at a young age. Hence, I believe that we will contribute to demonstrating a proper culture of alcohol consumption by conjoining the wide audience of Erasmus and the experience of responsible drinking adopted by Yerevan Brandy Company,” says Eliza Marmaryan, Head of Human Resources, Yerevan Brandy Company.

Responsible Party launched back in 2009, will serve as a base for the following project to effectively spread the notion of responsible drinking among the youth above the legal drinking age. Peers have a lot of authority over one another and the circumstances they may be affected with on an everyday basis can differ. The effectiveness of the project will be accomplished with the aid of youth by informing and encouraging one another with their examples and behaviors during gatherings and parties.

Peers’ shared interaction will further lead towards having widespread awareness of responsible drinking.
