"No preconditions" policy is the most correct one at present

PanARMENIAN.Net - "After Armenia's gaining independence in 1991, people all over the world expected Yerevan to set preconditions to Ankara, but what we did was just the contrary, and I consider such policy quite reasonable. We declared our willingness to normalize ties with Turkey without preconditions," RA first Foreign Minister Raffi Hovhannisyan said at ACNIS round-table on Armenian-Turkish relations. Stressing his critical attitude towards Armenian authorities, the ex-Foreign Minister said that he, nevertheless, shared their views on the issue. Turkey's once more looking back, determining opening of border and establishment of diplomatic ties by Karabakh conflict settlement, still, Armenia will never agree to this policy," Mr. Hovhannisyan said, noting that Turkey has never been a direct party to intergovernmental agreements, with world powers always acting on its behalf.
