 Karabakh President presides over Security Council meeting May 27, 2023 - 12:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) Arayik Harutyunyan presided over a meeting of the Security Council to discuss the military-political situation around Artsakh on Friday, May 26. According to a statement from Harutyunyan’s office, issues related to foreign political and security, as well as social and economic challenges caused by the blockade were on the table too. The President gave a number of instructions that refer to the solution of problems in the short and long term. The ICRC said on September 18 that it had sent humanitarian convoys to Nagorno-Karabakh from Armenia and Azerbaijan simultaneously. Freedom House has urged Azerbaijan to allow the International Committee of the Red Cross to provide vital humanitarian assistance to Nagorno-Karabakh.
