  Founding ICC prosecutor to prepare report on Karabakh blockade July 31, 2023 - 13:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Founding ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo will prepare a report on Azerbaijan’s ongoing blockade of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), Ocampo himself said on Twitter Sunday, July 30. “The President of Artsakh asked: is the Azerbaijani blockade a new genocide against Armenians? I am honored to help StopArmenianGenocide2023,” the prosecutor said in a series of tweets. “At the request of the President of Artsakh, I will produce in 7 seven days a report to #StopArmenianGenocideInArtsakh #StopArmenianGenocide2023.” Since December 12, 2022, the sole road connecting Nagorno Karabakh to Armenia - the Lachin Corridor - has been blocked by Azerbaijan. Baku tightened the blockade on June 15, 2023, banning emergency relief supplies that were carried out by Russian peacekeepers and the International Committee of the Red Cross through the sole road connecting Karabakh to Armenia and the outside world.
