 Azerbaijani ex-Prime Minister Surat Huseynov dies August 1, 2023 - 11:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Former Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Surat Huseynov, also known as the “Rebel Colonel” died on Monday, July 31, local media reports reveal. Huseynov rose to prominence during the First Nagorno-Karabakh War, and his military career led, in 1993, to his rise to power, but he was later imprisoned.
