Armenia congratulates Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine on “landmark” EU decision

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has congratulated Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova for the “landmark decisions” by the European Union.

European Council President Charles Michel announced on Thursday, December 14 that EU leaders agreed at their summit in Brussels to launch membership talks with Ukraine and Moldova, calling it “a clear signal of hope for their people and our continent.”

The EU leaders also granted EU candidate status to Georgia.

“This is a historic day for the European family, for those sharing democratic principles,” Mirzoyan said in a post on X.
