Macron reaffirms support for Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - French President Emmanuel Macron has reaffirmed his country’s support for Armenia in an Armenian language post he made on X Wednesday, February 21.

“Today, as France honors Missak and Mélinée Manouchians, grateful to Armenians for their contribution to the benefit of the French nation, the spirit of resistance, the struggle for freedom, your presence is important for us,” Macron said in a message addressed to visiting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.

“Once again I reaffirm France's support for you.”

Missak Manouchian and his comrades of the resistance movement were killed for the freedom of France, On Wednesday, Manouchian and his wife Mélinée will put to rest in the Pantheon, where France enshrines its great people.
