Ready to deliver missiles of various ranges, France tells Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - No one can criticize the Armenian army for strengthening its defense capabilities, French Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu told a press conference in Yerevan on Friday, February 22.

“I will not go into detail about what equipment will be coming to Armenia, but they all have defense capabilities, since the protection of both the population and borders is a priority in this region,” Lecornu said, Aysor.am reports.

“I must also speak about air defense systems, if Armenia needs them, then you will also have short-range, medium-range and other missiles at your disposal.”

The French Minister said the acquisition of weapons and training of the personnel is a priority now.

“We cannot talk about border security without certain control materials. Each time we will proceed from the operational needs expressed by our Armenian partners. And we will make appropriate proposals in accordance with these needs, be it weapons or training for defense purposes,” said Lecornu.
