Armenia committed to effective dialogue with Russia: Mirzoyan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan described his visit to Moscow as a significant opportunity to deepen bilateral cooperation during his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

He emphasized that Armenia remains committed to continuing effective political dialogue with Russia.

"I believe this visit is crucial for the development of our bilateral relations. The last time we met in this format was in July 2023. I consider this visit a valuable occasion to discuss bilateral cooperation issues and exchange comprehensive views on important regional and international matters.

I want to highlight Armenia's interest in maintaining an effective political dialogue aimed at addressing issues related to our bilateral relations and the regional situation," Mirzoyan stated, as reported by RIA Novosti.

He also underscored Armenia’s dedication to the principles of open and constructive dialogue.

"We hope that the Russian side will continue to consider all aspects of ongoing events, avoiding unilateral interpretations, which, unfortunately, we have witnessed in recent days. I trust that today's meeting will contribute to mutual understanding," the Armenian Foreign Minister added.
