Tax revenues in January 2025 exceed previous year’s by 31.1%![]() February 20, 2025 - 14:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In January 2025, Armenia's State Revenue Committee (SRC) collected 232.8 billion drams in tax revenues and state duties, which is 55.2 billion drams (31.1%) more compared to January 2024. Specifically, the tax authorities collected approximately 220.6 billion drams, an increase of 34.6 billion drams (18.6%) from the same period last year. Meanwhile, the customs authorities collected around 32.8 billion drams, exceeding the comparable period of the previous year by 5.9 billion drams (21.8%). Overall, total collections from tax and customs authorities amounted to 253.4 billion drams, out of which 20.6 billion drams were refunded to taxpayers and individuals. As a result, 232.8 billion drams were transferred to the state budget as tax revenues and state duties. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”.
