Over half of employed Artsakh residents earn under AMD 120,000

PanARMENIAN.Net - As of January, 55.6% of employed residents from Artsakh received monthly salaries of up to 120,000 drams. The State Revenue Committee provided data on the net salaries of Artsakh workers, CivilNet reports.

According to the Committee, as of March 1, the number of employed individuals from Artsakh who continued working after the September 2023 forced displacement stood at 20,420. However, the salary statistics are based on data from January, when the registered number of employed persons was 23,678.

The Committee’s report indicates that 7,708 individuals earned up to 75,000 drams monthly. The salary distribution in January was as follows:

  • 55.6% earned up to 120,000 drams
  • 20.5% earned between 120,000 and 180,000 drams
  • 15.2% earned between 180,000 and 300,000 drams
  • 8.7% earned 300,000 drams or more

As of April 1, the rental subsidy program for displaced Artsakh residents, unofficially known as “40+10,” has been sharply reduced. The program had provided 40,000 drams for rent and 10,000 drams for utilities per person monthly.
