The meeting was held in Moscow with the presence of other foreign ambassadors accredited in Russia. A photograph from the event was shared by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova on her Telegram channel. “Lavrov is discussing Eurasian security issues with foreign ambassadors accredited in Moscow,” Zakharova wrote alongside the image. In February, Lavrov had a separate meeting with ambassadors from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which also included Ambassador Arsenyan. Earlier, in a congratulatory message addressed to Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on the 33rd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Russia, Lavrov emphasized that the two countries had preserved an active political dialogue and deepened economic cooperation, despite attempts by external forces to undermine the allied relationship. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
