Turkey to take over UN Security Council presidency in June

PanARMENIAN.Net - On June , Turkey will take over UN Security Council's presidency. Under Turkish presidency, situation in Afghanistan and Pakistan will be the Council's top priority task.



Presidency in UN Security Council rotates among the 15 members in alphabetical order.



Turkey has been a member of the organization since January. As one of the 10 non-permanent members, it will stay in the council until the end of 2010.
