Residents of the Armenian capital will elect parties which will share 65 mandates of the city council. 700 empowered persons from 6 parties and one bloc, 6000 local and 15 international observers are watching the process. The number of voters totals 771 477. In all, 790 000 ballot papers were printed. The Central Electoral Committee will furnish data on the election process every 3 hours.
