The civil lawsuit will be reviewed by the General Jurisdiction Court of Syunik Province, according to CivilNet. Lawyer Hrayr Khachatryan, who represents the rights and interests of the striking workers, wrote on Facebook that a 4.7 billion dram seizure has been imposed on the assets of the eight individuals, excluding their bank accounts. He added that the same workers have filed their own lawsuits demanding reinstatement. According to the lawyer, the plant continued to operate during the strike thanks to thousands of employees who did not participate and maintained the production rhythm of the company. The strikers had demanded a salary increase of 120,000 to 150,000 drams on average, particularly for departments directly involved in production where wages are relatively low. The strike ended on February 10, with participants announcing they had reached an agreement with ZCMC’s management on resolving the raised issues. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”.
