Elderly woman unharmed as home hit in Azerbaijani fire

PanARMENIAN.Net - An elderly woman lives in the house in the Khoznavar community that was damaged during recent Azerbaijani military actions. She was inside at the time of the incident.

“The resident saw in the morning that her window had been shattered. An elderly woman lives in the house that was hit,” said Vahan Zakyan, the administrative head of Khoznavar, as reported by Pastinfo.

He confirmed that the woman was at home during the shooting but fortunately was not harmed.

Armenia’s Ministry of Defense confirmed that the house had sustained damage.

“On May 29, between 01:00 and 01:15, Azerbaijani Armed Forces units opened fire in the direction of the Khoznavar village in Syunik Province, damaging a residential house,” the Defense Ministry's statement read.
