As APA reported, Bayramov briefed the senator “on the post-conflict realities in the region and detailed the current state of the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, including the obstacles hindering progress.” The two also discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral U.S.-Azerbaijan relations, emphasizing the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation. Earlier, the President of Azerbaijan had stated that Azerbaijan’s demands to Armenia include dissolving the OSCE Minsk Group and amending Armenia’s Constitution, which allegedly contains territorial claims against Azerbaijan. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
