Armenian medics receive training in France

PanARMENIAN.Net - As part of renewed cooperation between Yerevan and Nice, Armenian doctors are currently undergoing training in France.

According to the Yerevan Municipality, the two cities became sister cities 18 years ago through an agreement signed by their municipal governments.

After a long period with little tangible cooperation, a turning point came in 2023 with a visit to Armenia by a delegation led by the First Deputy Mayor of Nice. That visit resulted in the signing of a framework agreement on international collaboration in the healthcare sector with Yerevan’s City Hall. Under this agreement, medical professionals from Yerevan’s healthcare institutions were sent to Nice for training.

A new group of doctors has already arrived in Nice this year, and the program is set to continue.
