Social credits worth over AMD 2.4 billion refunded![]() June 9, 2025 - 19:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on Facebook that since January 1, over 27,000 citizens who completed their income declarations have received compensation in the form of social credits. As of now, a total of 27,365 people have been reimbursed a combined 2.437 billion AMD. Compared to the previous Monday, this marks an increase of 1,696 individuals and 143 million AMD. On average, each citizen has received 89,000 AMD in credits. According to the system, all wage earners in Armenia are required to submit income declarations starting November 1. Those who file annual declarations and report personal or family-related expenses in healthcare and education are eligible for partial reimbursement through social credits. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”.
