Most recently, the Armenian dioceses of South America issued a united statement, according to Pastinfo. “The leaders of the Armenian dioceses of South America, the entire clergy, the National Ecclesiastical Central Council, members of diocesan councils, and the faithful express their unconditional support to His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians. ‘Grant long life to the Patriarch, Long days to the Father of Armenians. On the night of June 11, hundreds gathered at Zvartnots Airport to show their support for the returning Catholicos, who had just arrived from the United Arab Emirates. “We believe that with God’s mercy and help, together with you, wisely and without unnecessary emotions or unrest, we will overcome this difficulty,” the Catholicos told the crowd. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
