Human rights defender urges to uphold constitutional values

PanARMENIAN.Net - Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan issued a congratulatory message on the occasion of Constitution Day in Armenia, highlighting that the Constitution is the cornerstone of a legal and democratic state and society.

“Congratulations to all of us on the occasion of Constitution Day of the Republic of Armenia.

The Constitution is the foundation of a legal and democratic state and society. It not only defines the state’s legal basis but also recognizes the human being as the highest value, enshrining their inalienable rights and freedoms.

Ensuring proper protection of rights and freedoms and continuously improving the effectiveness of constitutional mechanisms are crucial for the development of the rule of law.

In this context, the active and responsible participation of each of us is vital for the preservation and enhancement of the values enshrined in the Constitution.

I am confident that our joint and consistent efforts to promote respect for human rights and strengthen constitutional culture will contribute to the development of a harmonious, tolerant society based on justice and the rule of law.

Once again, congratulations to all of us on this symbolic occasion. I wish for peace and the establishment of a legal state grounded in the supremacy of human rights,” the message read.
