Gyumri’s Shirak Airport to launch European routes

PanARMENIAN.Net - Flights from Gyumri’s Shirak Airport to European destinations are being planned, according to Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan during his visit to Shirak Province.

“We already have an agreement with one airline, and within the framework of a state subsidy program, flights are expected to begin soon — likely to a new destination in Europe,” Khudatyan stated, as reported by Armenpress.

He added that the new routes would generate increased flow and economic activity for the city and the province.
