Pashinyan says honored to be invited to Middle East summit by Trump![]() October 14, 2025 - 11:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in the Middle East Peace Summit held in Sharm El Sheikh, where he attended the signing ceremony of a ceasefire agreement concerning Gaza. “It was an honor to be invited by the U.S. President and to take part in the Middle East Peace Summit,” Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page. He also shared a brief video of his handshake with U.S. President Donald Trump. During the summit, Pashinyan had short conversations with leaders from various countries. As part of the summit, an agreement was signed marking the end of military operations in Gaza. The document was signed by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, U.S. President Donald Trump, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. Following the signing, both Trump and Sisi delivered speeches. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
