PanARMENIAN.Net - The Investigative Committee of Armenia has launched a criminal case in connection with the publication of intimate videos allegedly involving Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan, the Committee’s press service told Factor.am .

“A criminal proceeding has been initiated under Article 204, Part 3, Clause 2 of the Criminal Code: violation of privacy involving the use of special technical means intended for secret information collection,” the Committee stated.

The videos were first posted on October 25 via the Telegram channel “Armenian WikiLeaks.” Although the channel was later blocked by Telegram for violating its terms of use, the footage had already spread and been saved across other platforms.
