Diaspora protests Pashinyan’s visit to Germany

PanARMENIAN.Net - During Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s official visit to Germany, members of the Armenian community greeted him in Berlin with a protest, according to Panorama.am.

Demonstrators held up photos of detained bishops Bagrat and Mikael, as well as signs demanding their release and an end to attacks on the Armenian Church.

“Nikol, traitor. Shame on you. We are the world’s first Christian nation. Stop the terrorism against the Church, stop political persecution,” the protesters chanted.

Pashinyan is in Germany on an official visit. He has held meetings with President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Friedrich Merz. On December 10, he is scheduled to travel to Hamburg for further engagements.
