Armenia, Moldova discuss boosting cooperation![]() January 27, 2026 - 14:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On January 26, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi in Strasbourg to discuss ways to deepen cooperation and broaden the bilateral agenda. Both sides emphasized mutual interest in strengthening ties in various areas, particularly the economic sector. The ministers also exchanged views on reinforcing democratic institutions and developing effective tools to combat hybrid challenges, including disinformation. They discussed cooperation with the European Union, expressing readiness to share experiences related to European integration. In this context, they specifically addressed the upcoming European Political Community summit set to take place in Yerevan. Regional and international developments were also on the agenda during the meeting. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
