According to him, the bloc’s candidate for prime minister is Varuzhan Avetisyan, who is currently in detention. Papyan also added that discussions had taken place with three parties regarding including their representatives in the electoral list, but he did not specify which political forces were involved. The deadline for nominations in the National Assembly elections is April 23. Parliamentary elections in Armenia are scheduled to take place on June 7, 2026. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
