Prosecutors Association picks Armenia for 2028 meeting

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Executive Committee meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors will be held in Armenia in 2028.

The decision was adopted unanimously on April 15 during the 61st session of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors held in Shanghai.

Armenia’s Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan participated in the same 61st Executive Committee session in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, where she was elected as a member of the IAP Subcommittee on Training.

The IAP Executive Committee serves as the organization’s governing and administrative body, composed of the president, vice presidents, and 20 prosecutor members representing various countries, including the Republic of Austria, Canada, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Swiss Confederation, the French Republic, the Republic of Kenya, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Hungary, and others.

In Shanghai, Armenia’s Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan also met with the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of China, Ying Yong, as well as the Secretary General of the International Association of Prosecutors, Roel Dona.
