Armenia to host ReAnimania International Animated Film FestivalJune 29, 2009 - 20:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia will host ReAnimania International Animated Film Festival from October 3 to 6. "The idea to establish an international animated film festival emerged 3 years ago. This year sees the first ever festival. ReAnimania is not an accidental name. Armenia was the regional leader in producing animated cartoons and we want to regain this fame," said Vrezh Kasuni, director of the festival. The festival will include 15 programs. Applications are registered from June 20 August 10. As of today, 15 were received from foreign animators and 3 from Armenian. "The purpose of ReAnimania is to present the best animated films and bring together specialists," Mr. Kasuni said. The festival program also includes seminars, master-classes, discussions and exhibitions.
