"Armenbrok": Economic recession to reach 15 per cent in 2009 in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Economic recession will reach 15 per cent in 2009 in Armenia, Aram Kayfajyan , CEO of Armenbrok investment consulting and brokerage company said in Yerevan, answering the question of a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. "I think we will reach 15 per cent economic downturn, not more," he said.



Over the last ten months of 2009 economy shrunk 17,5 per cent in Armenia compared to the same period in 2008. According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, country's GDP in January-October of 2009 amounted to 2,466.3 billion AMD.
