Japan supports MG OSCE activities

PanARMENIAN.Net - Development of partnership with Japan is one of priorities of Armenia's foreign policy, RA Foreign Minister  Edward Nalbandian  stated at the meeting with his Japanese counterpart Katsuya Okada in Tokyo. 



The two men discussed ways to strengthen cooperation  within international organizations, to develop scientific and educational collaboration and to facilitate visa regime.



"We intend to establish Armenia's diplomatic outpost in Japan," Minister Nalbanidan said, inviting Mr. Okada to visit Armenia.

 

He also briefed on the latest developments in the Karabakh conflict settlement process and on the outcomes of the presidential meeting in Munich, RA MFA press service reported.



Mr. Okada, for his part, welcomed endeavors for normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations and said that his country supports the activities the OSCE MG carries out for resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
