Nani Bregvadze impressed with professionalism of "Arno" contest participants

PanARMENIAN.Net - USSR and Georgian People's Artist Nani Bregvadze said she is impressed with professionalism of "Arno" contest participants.

"I did not expect such a high level of performance. It's not easy to sing Arno Babajanyan's song but these young people did well," she told a news conference upon completion of the contest.

Organizers of the event, Arno Babajanyan's son Ara Babajanyan and producer Maya Kipiani voiced hope that the contest will become a tradition.

"We are hopeful that this contest will be Armenia's visit card. We have support and we have talented young people. It's all what is needed," Ara Babajanyan said.

Ms. Kipiani said for her part that young performers will participate in all events organized by International Public Fund in Memory of Arno Babajanyan. She also informed that the winner, Narek Margaryan, may represent Armenia at New Wave 2010 contest.
