Armenian communities in anticipation of new taxes

PanARMENIAN.Net -
The finalized bill propagating the number of local taxes will be approved by Armenian Parliament within upcoming hearings, Vardan Bostanjyan deputy chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, MP from "Prosperous Armenia”said. According to him, local administrations in Armenia were not provided tools for self-sustaining, and in this regard the Government's current initiative aimed at expanding the list of local taxes can only be welcomed. On the other hand, the new taxes imposed on the communities with low incomes can lead to deterioration of their socio-economic situation. From the initially proposed list 6 taxes have been excluded during discussions at parliamentary committees.
