Opposition, police clash in Yerevan

Some 60-70 participants of a protest action organized by the youth wing of the Armenian National Congress made an attempt to break through a police cordon at the intersection of Abobyan and Sayat-Nova streets towards the Republic Square in Yerevan.



The attempt resulted in a clash between the police officers and the group led by ANC coordinator on foreign affairs Vladimir Karapetyan.



Presently, the protesters are sitting on the ground, shouting out “freedom”.
