  ALMA to host Marash embroidery workshopsMarch 6, 2010 - 15:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 7 and 21, ALMA will host two-day Marash embroidery workshops. Marash embroidery, an ancient Armenian art form also known as Armenian interlaced embroidery, will be taught by ALMA Textile Curator Susan Lind-Sinanian. Susan will teach the visitors Marash embroidery basics and show beautiful examples from ALMA's texitle collection that date back to the early 19th and 20th century.
