ROMANIAN PRESIDENT LAID A WREATH TO THE MEMORIAL OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE IN OTTOMAN TURKEY 1915

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today President of Romania Ion Iliescu, who is in Armenia on an official call, visited Tsitsernakaberd, where he laid a wreath to the memorial of the victims of the Armenian genocide in Ottoman Turkey 1915. The Romanian President also planted a tree in the memorial complex park and left a note in the memorial book of the Armenian Genocide Museum. Earlier, Iliescu visited Holy Echmiadzin, where he met with Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II.
