US CONGRESS FINANCE SERVICE COMMITTEE TO CONSIDER ISSUE REGARDING BAN AGAINST FINANCING OF BAKU-JEYKHAN OIL-PIPE LINE AS IT PROMOTES ARMENIA'S ISOLATION

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today, the consideration of Congressman Republican Joseph Crowley's proposal stating not to allow the financing of the Baku-Tbilisy-Jeykhan oil-pipe line construction is planned at the meeting of US Congress finance service committee. The Congressman's argument is that the oil-pipe line construction not through Armenian territory will cost $ 600 million more. And the project realization will promote Armenia's economic and energy isolation and this does not meet the US interests.
