Director General of «Armenergo» close corporation Levon Yegiazaryan has informed the correspondent of «Arminfo» agency, that Iran electrical energy will be supplied to Armenia in the winter period. During the future talks, the sides will discuss the volume and the terms of electrical energy supplies. According to the agreement reached in 1998, there is a seasonal energy flow between Armenia and Iran annually. Armenia supplies electrical energy to Iran in the summer with the volume of 1.5-2 million kWh of electrical energy daily and Iran will return the same volume of it in the winter. The director of «Armenergo» has stated the sides are interested in the increase of the flow volume but this project needs to be examined again.
