Sourcio CEO: number of university students should be cut by half in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Leaders of IT companies gathered in Tsaghkadzor Armenian resort to discuss a number of issues referring to educational process, establishment of contacts between universities, business entities and state agencies, rehabilitation of universities as scientific and cultural centers, professional education and foreign languages study

“It’s important to create a favorable atmosphere in universities: to encourage the students and the teaching staff,” Sourcio CEO Hovhannes Avoyan said.

“It’s not a secret that a large number of students study to get a diploma. I offer to maintain the amount of financing of higher education institutions but cut the number of students by half,” he said.
