Vahan Hovhannisyan: no fighting capacity can be expected from a military unit with poor discipline

PanARMENIAN.Net - Battery, murders and suicides occur in armies worldwide. However, increased tragic incidents in the Armenian army suggest the authorities’ incorrect approach to the problem, according to the head of ARFD parliamentary group, Vahan Hovhannisyan.

“Armenian Ministry of Defense has to find a global solution to the existing problem, instead of examining separate cases,” Hovhannisyan told a news conference in Yerevan.

“No fighting capacity can be expected from a military unit with poor discipline,” Hovhannisyan said, characterizing involvement of the army in politics as unacceptable.
