Samuel Zbogar noted that the Convention for Avoidance of Double Taxation creates a favorable investment environment, while Slovenia is open for expanding trade relations and takes care of diversifying its economy. He added that Slovenia negotiates with the EU on joining the Free Trade Agreement. As for priority fields of cooperation, the Minister pointed to renewable energy, ecology, construction, tourism, IT, delivery of agricultural and medical equipment. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian noted for his part that the Armenian and Slovenian authorities are ready to contribute to boosting the bilateral relations, as the available potential is used insufficiently.
