ARMENIA OCCUPIES THE THIRD PLACE AMONG THE CIS COUNTRIES ON "THE INDEX OF THE HUMAN POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT"

PanARMENIAN.Net - . Armenia occupies the 72-nd place in the world and the third place among the CIS countries on "the index of the human potential development". That is said in the UNO development program report. As "Arka" agency informs, in the group of the countries with "the medium development level" where the CIS countries are included, Armenia is inferior in rating to Belorussia and Russian, that accordingly occupy 53-rd and 55-th places. Armenia is followed by Ukraine, 74, Kazakhstan, 75, Georgia 76, Azerbaijan 79. By the experts, the first place on "the index of the human potential development" has been appointed Norway, followed by Australia, Canada, Sweden, Belgium, USA, Island, Netherlands, Japan and Finland. The list of 162 countries is concluded by Sierra-Leone.

It should be mentioned that while calculating the "index of the human potential development" was taken into consideration the complex of the per capita income, the public health system and education system quality, and also the average level of the life-span.
