Dink’s widow, Rakel Dink, received the award in the municipality of Padua, Italy. Besides, a memorial plaque was installed and a tree was planted in the city park. After the ceremony, Mrs. Dink thanked the municipality of Padua for the award, making her remarks in Armenian. “Italy has done much for recognition of the Armenian Genocide,” she said, Dogan News Agency reported.
